Founding Beta terms

Use the beta responsibly and keep control of your work

These beta terms set practical expectations for invited use. They will receive formal legal review and jurisdiction-specific additions before paid public availability.

Founding Beta

TechCast Studio is currently an invited beta. Features may change, advanced cloud and provider workflows remain experimental, and the desktop download stays closed until its release gates pass.

Your content

You retain ownership of recordings and content you create. You grant TechCast only the limited permission needed to host, process, share, or publish content when you explicitly use those services.

Acceptable use

Do not upload unlawful content, violate privacy or intellectual-property rights, bypass access controls, probe other accounts, distribute malware, or use TechCast to abuse connected services.

Connected services

Google, Stripe, AI providers, storage providers, and publishing destinations have their own terms. Connecting a provider authorizes only the actions shown in TechCast and can be revoked from the relevant account.

AI-assisted drafts

Automated and AI-assisted outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable. You must review facts, rights, sensitive information, disclosures, and destination rules before publishing; TechCast does not publish an AI draft merely because it was generated.

Payments and refunds

Self-serve paid checkout is closed during the Founding Beta. Pricing, renewal, cancellation, refund, tax, and consumer terms will be published and reviewed before paid public availability.

Reliability and backups

The beta is provided without a public availability guarantee. Keep copies of important source recordings and exports. Local recovery reduces recording-loss risk but is not a substitute for your own backups.

Suspension and termination

Access may be restricted to protect users, providers, or the service, or after material misuse. You may request account deletion from Settings; the request remains visible and cancelable while obligations are reviewed.

Questions

Use the signed-in support and privacy controls in Settings before relying on a provider, payment, or deletion workflow.

Anyone can use the illegal-content notice form for a public TechCast share URL.
